How you can help
Become a volunteer to help in our activities
PSLEM currently has only one full-time staff and much of its work is carried out with the help of volunteers. If you wish to volunteer towards a worthy cause, please do let us know how you can help. Examples of the work to be done – data entry, counselling in hospitals, visiting and encouraging patients who are warded, and assisting in the various tasks to be done for PSLEM’s fundraising walkathon, the Walk-a-Payung.
Contribute to a good cause
PSLEM’s work is funded by corporate donors and individual well-wishers. All cash donations to PSLEM are tax deductible. To donate, you can:
- Download the donation form and post your cheque/money order together with the form so that we can send your tax exemption receipt to you. (You will need to download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to open the form.)
- Bank in your donation to “Persatuan SLE Malaysia” at CIMB account no: 1266-0000638-054 or MayBank account no: 514011555411 and post the bank-in slip together with the donation form so that we can send your tax exemption receipt to you.
- If you are a CIMB Bank, Bank Islam, Hong Leong Bank, Maybank, Public Bank or RHB Bank customer, you can donate via CIMB Clicks or MEPS FPX. Please go to the CIMB Cares – PSLEM donation page to make your donation.
